OPEN YEAR-ROUND
You may be eligible now, even if you have applied before. Families of four with an income up to $76,500 may qualify.
We help with applications and renewals for TennCare and CoverKids. If you have been terminated or denied, we can also help you find out if that decision was wrong. If the decision was wrong, we can assist with an appeal.

Since 2018, Tennessee Justice Center (TJC), along with forty other partner organizations, have been actively working to increase public awareness of this issue, educate the public about which programs they may qualify for, and assist families with any enrollment problems or questions that may come up. The partner organizations that have joined us in this fight include health providers, educators, childcare facilities, and other non-profits across the state.
WHY DOES THIS
PROGRAM MATTER?
In Tennessee, about 116,900 kids don't have health insurance. This is sad because over 53,000 of them could get coverage through Medicaid, called TennCare, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, called Cover Kids in Tennessee.
